We love having talented and compassionate people join us in supporting our refugee and immigrant neighbors! Through our programs we help individuals learn English, receive support in school or simply learn to navigate culture in the United States. We also encourage mentorship for individuals seeking to launch a business in the U.S. or those pursuing new trades. Additionally, we offer empowerment programs for stay-at-home moms along with cross-cultural friendships.

Because of the vulnerable nature of the families being served, if you are over 18 years old, you will be asked to provide a fingerprint clearance card from the State of Arizona or complete a background check. Once your initial application is submitted, if needed you will receive a link to the background check portal.

Policy:


Matthew House AZ, Inc. holds that all information about clients, former clients, client’s families, staff, volunteers as well as financial and business information is confidential. Conversations about published Matthew House AZ Inc. information is permitted but any conversation about client’s information or information that might make client known (including pictures) is not permitted. No information may be released without authorization of the Executive Director.

Failure to maintain confidentiality may result in termination for employees and volunteers or other corrective action. If you are a board member, failure may result in being removed from the board. This policy is intended to protect you as well as Matthew House AZ Inc. because in some extreme cases violation may result in personal liability.
